  • Sadly, due to the actions of one of our members, the track is damaged beyond reasonable repair, and the committee has decided to dismantle it with a view to returning it to Charlie Gooding as soon as practicable. This will give us the incentive to crack on and build our new track. All the materials are now in place for the new one.
This obviously means that racing is currently suspended, but PLEASE still come along for the next few Thursdays and help us get up and running again with the minimum of delay.
  • Nationals 2007 - mixed success for our drivers at the Nats this year, perhaps the biggest plus was that we had 4 of the 11 entrants in the Novice production event, with three making the final. Well done to Chris and Christopher Aldridge and Alex Wood, and commiserations to Aaron Pole. The good thing is that they are all eligible to try again next year.
On a brighter note, Brian made all three overall finals clinching the Saloon Championship. Kev made the Intermediate final in Saloon finishing 7th and moving up to Main Grade in the process. Woody made the overall final in Sports, breaking the 12 minute lap record in the process (later to be beaten by two other drivers), and breathed a sigh of relief as this meant that he maintains his Premier Driver status. All the results can be found at the web site address below.
