Congratulations Woody....
A delighted Woody receives this year’s Sports Trophy from last year’s champ, Ben. Woody drove a terrific race in the Sports final chasing Ross Grogan from Ecurie Barnton all the way until he finally passed him at the very end of segment 7. Just as Ben did last year he had Orange lane to finish on and drew away from the field with fastest lap time and fastest segment times of the weekend. He finally finished 2 laps up on Alan Lucas, also from Ecurie Barnton, and 3 laps up on long time leader Ross Grogan.
A fantastic Sports result for Leicester, now having held the title for 2 years in a row.
Congratulations also to Brian Saunders on taking this year’s Formula 1 title
